Sabah Indoor Climbing Centre

Rock and wall climbing enthusiasts can climb to their heart’s content at the Sabah Indoor Climbing Centre in Likas, just outside Kota Kinabalu city.

The Sabah Indoor Climbing Centre features a variety of walls to with grades catering for total beginner and the more advanced climber.

The climbing walls were built according to British Mountaineering Council standards, with UIAA standards ropes, harnesses and climbing hardware, ensuring your safety whilst rock climbing in Kota Kinabalu’s most exciting exercise center.

The Sabah Indoor Climbing Centre is part of the recently completed Youth Challenge Park next to the Likas Sports Complex, which also features a an excellent skate park along with all the other facilities of the sports complex.

But don’t let the ‘youth’ part put you off, because all ages are welcome at the Sabah Indoor Climbing Centre.

Closed on Monday, but groups can book any time

How much does it cost?

One time membership fee: RM5

Adults: RM14 (unlimited climbing, includes equipment)

Under 18: RM12 (unlimited climbing, includes equipment)

Equipment: harness, shoes, chalk-bag, etc.

There’s also a kiosk that sells refreshments, Wi-fi, and seats to just sit and chill.
