It's cutting a bit close, which doesn't leave you much margin for error if there was a delay somewhere. If everything went clock-work with no delays, you could make it. If you can, check in online for your MAS Wings flight and don't waste any time getting to Terminal 1.

There is a bus that comes around once an hour apparently (RM2) – not sure how reliable this is. It will drop you at the Wawasan Plaza bus terminal, from where you can take a city shuttle (50c) to get to the rest of the city.

I was there in March 2012. The toilets were TERRIBLE as the floors were wet and there were cockroaches running around. It does not matter if it's a no-frills terminal with a 1970s design, but at least the management has got to keep the premises clean! If not, it's a lawsuit waiting to happen…

There is parking where you can park long term – it’s basic, no cover. Not sure what the charges are, but – if I remember correctly, and maybe you want to double check – at Terminal 1 a Friday night to Sunday afternoon stay the other day cost me about RM38.

Alice, unfortunately there is nothing other than taxis connecting the 2 terminals. It should cost RM25 to get from the one to the other.

I think Terminal 2 is technically open 24 hours, but you won't be able to check-in and go through 24 hours a day. There are no shops open for 24 hours, but the Terminal is about a 20 minute walk from a nearby 7-11.

Terminal 2 and 1 are about a 15 minute taxi ride apart – it also depends on traffic, so leave a little more time rather than too little.

MAS Wings flies from Terminal 1.
