This 3-day event is the single most important celebration of the year. The traditional Kaamatan Festival is a colourful festival and involves, amongst other big events, the city-level crowning of the Unduk Ngadau (Harvest Beauty Queen) and Sungdoi (Kadazan Idol). Featuring culture, traditions, singing, dancing and traditional alcoholic beverages.

Sabah’s ethnic groups come out in full force during Sabah’s most anticipate cultural event of the year. A prelude to the statewide Harvest Festival, the Sabah Fest explode in a colourful kaleidoscope of traditions and culture, featuring food, wine, music and dancing.

Visit the gateway to some of the worlds best dive sites, when Semporna comes to life with a unique boat festival of the Bajau people when they dress up their Lepa-Lepa or traditional sailboats, in a contest to see who’s is the most beautiful of the seas. Witness other activities and feast on Semporna’s famous seafood.

Every Saturday and Sunday this month, witness traditional ethnic Sabahan handy craft at the Monosopiad Cultural Village. Witness skills passed on through the generations in action.

A major event on Sabah’s golf calendar, the annual event is open to gents with a handicap of 14 or below, and to ladies with a handicap of 24 and below. The event takes place over three days (TBA).
