The main aim of the Sabah International Trade Expo is to develop trade, investment and business opportunities not only in Sabah, but in Malaysia as a whole, with regional and international trading partners. The Sabah International Trade Expo remains Sabah’s most important trade fair.

The Sabah International Expo is held every two years and is jointly organised by the State Government of Sabah, the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) and the Federation of Sabah Manufacturers.

The Sabah International Expo is biennial event sanctioned by the Sabah and Federal Governments. 2008 sees the biggest Sabah Internataionl Expo to do with participation from European Union member countries.
