Ice Bar’s 2010 Countdown Fiesta

Ice Bar 1Borneo is throwing the hottest new year’s eve party this year. But Ice Bar isn’t content with just saying goodbye to 2009 on 31 December, they’re also saying hello to 2010 on 1 January with 2 back-to-back monster parties!

So, prepare yourself for 16 hours of partying with 6,000 megawatt of bass power, 3,000 party people, 13 well-known DJs, 9 energetic dancers on 2 nights in a row at 1Borneo’s Ice Bar!

Not to name drop, but at Ice Bar’s New Year’s Eve and New Year’s party in Kota Kinabalu, you can expect to hear tunes from hottie Dj Droolotte Tasha, DJ Ken from Hitz.FM, Philippines import DJ Cowboy, DJ Reiki from Singapore, Canadian and Asian Jamaster A and Sabah’s own Atama.

Setting the rhythm to get you in a dance mood, Royal Phantom will put on a power dance sequence, accompanied by fashion shows, hip hop dancing, break dancing and beat-boxing. There will be podium dancers, free gifts, lucky draws and that’s just for starters!

To ring in 2010 at Ice Bar’s New Year’s celebration there will be fireworks. But hang on, isn’t the venue covered? Yes it is, which is why Ice Bar is using technologically advanced cold fireworks for the indoors fireworks display!

Follow the signs out of Kota Kinabalu’s central business district and find 1Borneo Hyper Mall a mere 7km from town. When there’s no traffic it takes only 15 minutes, but on the party nights, expect some delays and make sure you get there early.

1Borneo has lots of restaurants, shopping and entertainment options, so arrive earlier rather than later.
