Sabah International Dragon Boat Race is an annual sporting event held in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Organised in conjunction with the Duan Wu Festival, the dragon boat races, which is a Chinese tradition, has evolved over the years into one of Sabah’s prominent sporting events.
During the Sabah International Dragon Boat Race, which takes place in Likas Bay, local and international dragon boat racing teams paddle furiously in time to the beating drums as they race each other to be first over the finish line.
