More about Sutera Harbour 7K Charity Run
Sutera Harbour 7k Sunset Charity Run is an annual event held by Sutera Harbour Resort in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Held for the 17th time in 2017, the Sutera Harbour 7K Charity Run aims to get people running for fun, health and charity – those charities being the Sabah Thalassemia Society and Special Olympics Sabah.
Tip: if don’t run fast, bring your own drinks while running. The event does have drink stations on the route, but if you’re not in the first half of the field, previous years have shown, you’ll only be greeted by empty tables.
Registration fees for the Sutera Harbour 7K Charity Run will be announced later. Like previous years it will likely include a t-shirt, but there’s only so many shirts and sizes, so register early.
Like every year before, there will be traffic congestion, so don’t be afraid to park “far away” like at Harbour City or Grace Park and walk to the starting point. You’re going for the exercise after all, aren’t you?
Parking at both KK Times Square and Imago might be good options, as there is an early escape route through the roundabout near Wisma Wawasan.
