The Bunga Raya Island Resort is a super exclusive hideaway literally hidden on the far side of Gaya, the biggest island in the marine park that lies just off Kota Kinabalu.
The resort’s 47 rooms, tree houses and suites are nestled in the hilly slope fronted by the sweeping sands of the once untouched Police Beach and is otherwise surrounded by the tropical jungle canopy of Gaya island.
Activities at the resort include motorised and non-motorised watersports, spa treatments and massage and a Jacuzzi.
Access to the resort is via boat transfer only, which takes about 25 minutes and departs 3 times a day from the Jesselton Point ferry terminal.
