Hana Japanese Restaurant is located in Kota Kinabalu’s City Mall, a little distance away from the city centre, but well worth the journey.
With more Japanese restaurants cropping up all over Borneo, Hana Japanese Restaurant stays ahead of the curve with a creative menu of set meals, a la carte items and the ever popular sushi train.
Another area where Hana Japanese Restaurant is notable is their level of service. The service staff are friendly and very attentive and even when it gets busy plates are cleaned quickly and orders fulfilled in timely manner.
Hana Japanese Restaurant has ample seating area varying from outside, around the sushi train, booths or semi-private areas that can host small parties.

Hi, been reading your very informative blog for a while now. I think you have great contents – but perhaps you can make the pictures bigger instead of having them as thumbnails. Host them on sites like Flickr and post a decent size in this blog.
Anyway, do check out Indian restaurants too.

Thanks for the positive comments Jewelle.
If a particular thumbnail interest you, you can always click on it for a 640×480 version.
A personal preference I guess, but I would rather choose which pictures to see big as opposed to having them all load regardless, but if there’s more feedback on this, I’ll reconsider.
We’ve done a few Indian restaurants and they’ll come up shortly.
I’m glad you like the blog and thanks for letting me know your thoughts. I look forward to more
