Moon Bell Restaurant

Moon Bell Restaurant is one of those restaurants you pass while wondering how it will be, until the day you decide to try the food; that’s the day you become a regular.

You’ll find Moon Bell in the centre of Kota Kinabalu, just off the main road. Here this unassuming restaurant serves northern Chinese style dishes of beef, chicken, lamb, duck, seafood and vegetables.

As the Chinese never eat alone, each menu item is enough for about 3 people and 3 or 4 items will satisfy a hungry group of 3 or 4.

The dishes are spicy, so if you can’t take the heat… ask them for not so spicy.

The storm sand chicken, dry stir fried lazy crab, spicy potato and, judging by the flood of email we received, the seafood stuffed brinjal, are all tongue tingling must-try dishes to discover at Moon Bell Restaurant.
