Hmmm – ok, from the looks of it, from the poster, if the schedule has NOT changed, there is a bus at Warisan at 5:45pm, and another one at 6:15pm (you didn't say am or pm; there are NO 1B shuttles in that time of the am, because almost everything is closed!)

The last bus leaving 1B is at 9pm, and will arrive at Warisan about 9:45pm

ummmm, yes, it is THAT far – you would never EVER want to walk from the downtown area to/from 1Borneo!!!

I arrived at the central bus/taxi area, walked over to Jesselton Point, got my ferry tickets for the return trip, and then back again to Warisan Square. I went upstairs, got my ticket, and then waited on the shuttle.

There are also public buses that will take you out that way, as well as at least one big city bus I saw running the route.

NO, Jude & others – you do NOT have to be staying out at any of the 1Borneo hotels. It is a free service to promote shopping & entertainment options out there. Just tell them you want to shop, look around, eat, see a movie, bowl, whatever. No charge; use it as much as you like. Just be aware you HAVE to go to the ticket counter in advance to get the freebie voucher each time, coming & going.

For the record – I had a wonderful trip, & will go back there again on R&R time. Stayed cheaply/nicely @ Tune; breakfast buffet splurge at Novotel, entertainment, shopping & GREAT food all over 1Borneo proper.

If I could just find a close beach, popular with the Uni students, I'd be almost set!

If you plan on partying in downtown KK, plan on taking a taxi back to 1Borneo if you are staying out there.

If you have to leave early for the bus/ferry/airport, also don't count on the shuttle – use your hotel service, or grab a taxi (there were always taxis out in front of the Novotel).

I think from Jessleton Point it would be easier to just take a cab straight to 1Borneo – it should cost in region of RM20 – RM25.

If you REALLY want to take the bus then when you exit Jessleton Point turn left towards 1Borneo and about 1km down the road, there's a bus stop.

Sooner or later a bus (not necessarily the 1Borneo Shuttle) will come along that will take you to 1Borneo.

Would you have any idea, after arriving at the ferry terminal, whether it is better to walk over to the Warisan Square pickup point, or just grab a cab (or city bus???) & head to Likas Square? For this trip, I have more time than money, but if it works out about the same, I'd rather not backtrack –
