Rumba Latin Bar & Grill is attached to the Le Meridien Hotel, located in the centre of Kota Kinabalu and as such is not only wildly popular amongst locals, but tourists alike.
Although Rumba is a party place of note with drinks and dancing the main focus, early evening it’s also a great place for Latin American inspired food from the varied menu.
Beer, spirits and cocktails aside, you’ll also find decent wine list to accompany your meal or your dancing at Rumba.
As far as KK’s nightlife goes, Rumba is pretty versatile. An outside, walled-off area gives you the opportunity to catch your breath and some fresh Borneo air, while an upstairs part is away from the music and also quieter in general.
The live bands at Rumba are usually quite good and a DJ mixes it up between sets.

they were in Hard Rock KL after they left Rumba, then now they are back in the Phils. they’re planning to come back to KK soon
