Bayu Restaurant

Jesselton Hotel, Sabah, Malaysia

“An upmarket Malaysian cuisine restaurant in the heart of the city of the land below the wind.”

Description

Bayu Restaurant is the next incarnation of the Jesselton Hotel’s lobby restaurant.

Over recent years this particular lot has seen many restaurants come and go, and Bayu Restaurant is the latest attempt. Bayu claims to be an upmarket Malaysian cuisine restaurant, a concept that obviously means different things to different people.

The slightly uninspired menu seems relatively affordable, with food prices varying between R10 and R33, and drinks prices from R4.5 for “local drinks” up to R58 for a jug of Tiger beer.
