Festive Retail Mall is apparently what they’re calling another mall coming up in Kota Kinabalu, this one attached to the Sutera Avenue development that comes with residences and offices.
Marketing blurb describes Festive Retail Mall as apparently “a first-of-its-kind” retail concept that is a street mall with a 15m wide pedestrian boulevard.
Festive Retail Mall will be a double-storey development aim at the residence of Sutera Avenue as a place where they can do shopping on their doorstep without leaving the opulent comfort of their fancy residential development.
Sutera Avenue was first launched in September 2012 as an integrated development with 18 blocks of 2-storey retail shops and 3 towers of residential units.
An article in the Borneo Post in March 2014 quoted MAH Sing Properties Marketing & Sales Manager in Kota Kinabalu, Michelle Ho, as saying that Sutera Avenue construction had started and was expected to be completed in 36 months (March 2017).
