Coral Flyer Zipline & Island Hopping

(5 customer reviews)

Description

Coral Flyer Zipline is not the longest island to island zipline in the world anymore (thanks Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro in the Philippines), but it’s still the longest island-to-island flying-fox activity in Sabah and Borneo, spanning the sandy straight between Gaya and Sapi Islands in the Tunku Abdul Rahman (TAR) Park.

The Coral Flyer Zipline’s adrenaline beautifully balances the otherwise laid-back fun of snorkeling and island hopping in the TAR Park. Our Coral Flyer Zipline & Island Hopping package lets you literally experience the marine park from above and below the surface.

The TAR Park is only about 10 minutes or so by boat from Kota Kinabalu city, and the double-span, 250m long Coral Flyer Zipline that accommodate 2 flyers at a time aside, is also home to magnificent beaches and beautiful reefs, the best of which you will get to sample during this tour.

If weather conditions are optimal, speeds of over 50 km/h can be reached while flying over the clear waters in the narrow channel that separates the 2 islands in Kota Kinabalu’s marine park.

  1. Eric van Heerden

Nice activity, professionally run by friendly people, if you catch the weather right nice spots for snorkeling and we saw the wild boar on Sapi too.

  2. J Chan

Coral Flying is something else to do on the island besides snorkel, swimming or lying in the sun. They bring you from Sapi in their little boat to go to Gaya and then you fly to Sapi again. Fun.

  3. Snow Huang

Quick booking online, wasn’t sure about the voucher, but went to Jesselton and everything went according to plan. The snorkeling from the boat was perfect, there’s quite a bit to see in the park if you think how close to Kota Kinabalu it is, and the Coral Flyer was a great cherry on the cake.

  4. Robert Holmes

Beautiful outting! The Coral Flyer adds just the right amount of adrenaline to an otherwise laid-back island hop and snorkelling experience.

  5. SabahBah

An excellent combination: the thrill of the Coral Flyer and then the lull of peaceful islands.
