Mixed Martial Arts, or MMA as it’s commonly known, has taken the world by storm over recent years and is now also flourishing in Borneo.
It was only a matter of time before the first MMA championship took place in Borneo and with Borneo Fighting Championship MMA, that time is now.
Coming to the Likas Sports Complex in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on 16 November 2013, the Borneo Fighting Championship MMA is first mixed martial arts tournament of it’s kind in Sabah and will feature 10 fights.
7 of the fights will be amateurs, with the remaining 3 bouts being between professional mix martial arts fighters.
The championship will offer a platform for new and budding mixed martial arts fighters from around the South East Asian region to prove their mettle and match their skills against others.
A host of sponsors are already supporting the event that is set to bring action packed MMA action to the norther part of Borneo.
