The Borneo Safari International Off Road Challenge is South East Asia’s biggest extreme off-roading event. Every year it attracts over 500 participants in 200 vehicles. It returns to Sabah annual around the end of October and hope for more of the same in 2018.
The 4×4 action usually kicks off the week before with the Borneo Outdoor Show. It’s the ideal opportunity for off-road enthusiasts and visitors to get a glimpse of the action that awaits during the Borneo Safari International Off Road Challenge.
The entire convoy of Borneo Safari 4x4s will be paraded during the flag-off ceremony at the Sabah Tourism building.
The convoy of Borneo Safari International Off Road Challengers will spend 8 days in the extreme terrain of the Trus Madi Forest Reserve, which is about 70km inland from Kota Kinabalu.
