Description

Coalition Duchenne will hold its 5th annual Expedition Mt Kinabalu on 7 – 9 August 2015.

This year they 100 climbers take on Mt. Kinabalu to raise global awareness and funding for Duchenne.

Duchenne, a fatal muscle wasting disease, affects roughly 1 in 3,500 boys world-wide, most of whom will like not see their 20th birthday.

The disease leaves the mind and dreams intact, with the body unable to achieve them.

Catherine Jayasuriya, the founder of the movement, is a Sabahan mother of 3 and her son, 18 year old Dusty, has Duchenne.

Join Coalition Duchenne as they take on Mt. Kinabalu this August.
