HERE is a leader in navigation, mapping and location experiences – and the workshop is a chance to become part of the HERE community.

A Nokia company, HERE builds high-definition maps, which they combine with cloud technology to create a rich, real-time location experience for a broad range of devices like smartphones, tablets, in wearables and notabily in vehicle navigation systems.

HERE is expanding their community of map builders in Sabah.

The HERE Map Creator Workshop teaches how to become an expert in using HERE’s free GPS / Navigation apps and how to join their amazing Mapping Community.

The HERE Community Team hosts a 1-day HERE Map Creator Workshop on Saturday, 10 October 2015 at Grandis Hotel in Kota Kinabalu.

The workshop includes:

• the free mapping workshop, coffee break and lunch;
• official HERE freebies for workshop participants;
• cool prizes for the HERE Map Challenge held during the day.

The event attracted 30 students, lecturers and individuals with a keen interesting for maps and mapping technology.
