Description

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater, but you’re not sure if it’s for you, then booking the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course in Kota Kinabalu is for you.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving allow you to experience all the excitement and buzz of underwater scuba diving, without the 3 day course to get licensed first.

A taster, if you will, PADI Discover Scuba Diving is for unlicensed divers who want to dive now. If afterwards the scuba bug bites you, this course will count as credit towards your PADI Open Water Scuba Diving course.

Prerequisites for the course is a minimum age of 10 years old and good health.

There are a few restrictions on the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Course, most notably that you won’t be able to dive without being under the close supervision of a qualified PADI Instructor, and you will only be able to dive less than 10m deep.

However, in the TAR Park a lot of the good stuff is shallow anyway, so the limits will not detract from you experience in any way.

Once booked on your PADI Discover Scuba diving course, you’ll meet us at the Jessleton Point jetty for an 8:30am start to the islands. From then until lunch you will get your safety briefing, skills demonstration and a shallow, dive from the beach, just to get you used to the water.

After lunch you will experience your 2nd, fully fledged, 45-minute scuba dive.

The itinerary above is indicative and might vary depending on weather and operational requirements.

I like the no need for license to enjoy the under water landscape for the day. This company also not to let you hold the turtles or take back the star fish. I guess it is good. The instructor make me calm and the diving is fun. Life is colourful.
